- Do family members need an account?
- To see the group and add costs, yes — a free SquadFin account. You can add people by name before they join, so the record is complete from day one.
- Can we use different currencies?
- Each group uses one currency so balances are clear. Start a separate group for costs in another currency.
- Does Share send or request payments?
- No. Share only records costs and settle-ups. It never connects to a bank, card or payment app.
- What happens if someone leaves?
- The group's creator can remove anyone who isn't part of a recorded cost. Records stay accurate for everyone else.
- Does it cost anything?
- Share is free for up to two family groups. SquadFin Plus ($39 a year) removes the limit. Family members who join your group don't need to pay.
